Litzbuehel Alpenrallye 2025

Kitzbuehel Alpenrallye 2025

A Kitzbühel success story on four wheels

37 years of the Kitzbühel Alpine Rally 2025 – a success story. Founded and supported until his untimely death in 2002, the Alpine Rally was led by Kitzbühel’s top chef Hasi Unterberger and a circle of dedicated classic car enthusiasts: Rupert Mayr-Reisch, Rudi Höfinger , and Hartmut Fromm . Other important names from the “founding period” included Sigurd Bartenstein († 2001), Otto Langer, Hugo Schlatter (both of whom have since left the organizing committee), and long-time organizing committee head Hermann Windbrechtinger († 1999). All of them – and many other dedicated colleagues – shaped the Alpine Rally in its early years.

Timeless passion. This is what the Kitzbühel Alpine Rally has stood for for over three decades, and will continue to celebrate the art of automotive engineering in 2025. Three days, 500 kilometers, breathtaking panoramas, and a top-notch experience: The Alpine Rally unites fans of iconic classics, modern classics, and exotic vehicles and is one of the last sanctuaries where the passion for cars can still be lived.

The organizer of the Kitzbühel Alpine Rally is  Kitz Promotion GmbH.

The members of the organizing committee and their areas of responsibility are:
Rupert Mayr-Reisch (overall catering management),  Dr. Clemens Winkler, Dr. Hartmut Fromm  (legal matters), and  Mike Mayr-Reisch  (catering). Florian Zinnagl is the event’s chief organizer and managing director  .

The sporting portion of the event is under the supervision of  Detlef Ruf  (rally director) in close collaboration with  Alfons Nothdurfter  and his assistants from  the Kitzbühel Motorsport Club . Wolfgang Nölscher serves as sporting director  , Werner Amend  and his team ( Werner Gausch and Matthias Grubert)  are head of technical scrutineering  , and Josef Pointinger serves as participant liaison  . The specialists at Kart-Data Timing Holzleitner are responsible for timing and scoring  , while the team around Andreas Kronthaler and Jakob Wallner is  responsible for track maintenance  .

The Kitzbühel Alpine Rally is considered one of the largest and most prestigious classic car events in Europe and, alongside the world-famous Hahnenkamm Race (Ski World Cup) and the Generali Open ATP tennis tournament, is  one of the top annual events  in the Gamsstadt
