Since 1985, the Pfandl has stood for genuine enjoyment , authentic regional specialties, and creative delicacies. Especially in winter, the crackling fire creates a special kind of magic; it couldn’t be more cozy. Your eye might be drawn to one or two rarities that have been collected over the years, usually valuable gifts from regular guests, such as the antlers of an African water buffalo or antelope, and new additions are always being added.

The s’Pfandl, as the name suggests, became known for hearty Tyrolean home-style cooking served in huge cast-iron pans, such as veal knuckle with roasted potatoes, vegetables, and bread dumplings. The house’s other specialty is the rustic skewers, topped with grilled beef fillet or turkey breast and then hung on specially made racks with baked potatoes and various homemade spicy sauces.
A delicacy of this kind is unique far and wide. The third pillar is the bi-weekly specialty menu with regional and international specialties, which consistently proves very popular with guests with new creations.
The newly renovated wine cellar not only serves as a storage space for fine wines but also invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together. Perhaps the Pfandl will surprise you with new ideas on your next visit. You can rent our wine cellar for special occasions by prior arrangement. Enjoy our unique ambiance with a fine bottle of wine.
